As part of the previously agreed and signed cooperation with the Trakia University from Stara Zagora, Republic of Bulgaria, Dr. Nikola Delic, director of the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Dr. Aleksandar Stanojković, visited the University at the invitation of the host and as guest lecturers presenting “Major bacterial pathogens affecting pig farms” within the -Erasmus+ HE Staff Mobility Agreement for teaching program “New opportunities for achievement of sustainable development in livestock production” no. 2022-1-BG01-KA131-HED-000056969-1.
The lectures lasted six days and were held in the premises of the Trakia University in Stara Zagora, and near the practical base of the Trakia University in Sarnitsa. Dr. Delić and Dr. Stanojković, in addition to imparting their theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of swine diseases, got acquainted with the way of training students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Trakia University as well as the Justus-Liebig University in Giessen, Germany.
