The Institute of Animal Husbandry organized the 14th International Symposium “Modern Trends In Livestock Production” on October 4-6, 2023. The event was attended by over 40 foreign participants from 23 countries. Dr. Dušica Ostojić Andrić, leader of the Serbian CLIAVE project team, presided over the section where interesting works on climate change in animal husbandry were presented. Dr. Samolovac, an associate of the CLIAVE project, presented a paper on cattle production in conditions of climate change. The constructive discussion that followed concluded that although animal husbandry contributes significantly to GHG emissions, there are various measures that can be applied to mitigate its impact on climate change.
