Equipment – Institut za stočarstvo

Laboratory for Chemistry and Microbiology realizes physicochemical tests based on spectrophotometric (AAS, UV-VIS spectrophotometer), volumetric, gravimetric, and chromatographic (GC) methods.

Equipment owned by the Chemical Testing Laboratory includes: analytical scales, drying ovens, annealing furnaces, water baths, pH meters, fat extraction apparatus (Soxhterm Multistat),

apparatus for determining cellulose, ADF and NDF (Fibertec 2010), UV-VIS spectrophotometer (SPEKOL 1300), atomic absorption spectrophotometers (PinAAcle 500, Perkin Elmer; Varian AA-175),

apparatus for determining protein according to Kjeldahl (Gerhardt Vapodest 50S), gas chromatograph (GC 2014, Shimadzu), consistometer (determining the softness of meat according to Volodkevich), lanometer (apparatus for determining the thickness of meat and wool fibers).
