SCOPE AND JOURNAL POLICY

Biotechnology in Animal Husbandry is an open access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes previously unpublished original research articles, review articles, short communications, case reports by international researchers on scientific progress in animal science. The journal includes publications in animal breeding and genetic (animal breeding value, quantitative and molecular genetics), genetic diversity, animal genetic resources, their use and conservation, investigation of domestic animal genome, animal husbandry and welfare, physiology and reproduction of livestock, advanced technologies in animal husbandry, ecological nutrition, technologies of production of meat, meat biochemistry and meat processing technologies, quality of animal products; physiology and biochemistry of digestibility of nutrients for ruminants, research of feed quality and application of compound feed components and biologically active materials, optimization of rations, etc. The journal addresses researchers, teachers, stakeholders of academic and educational institutions as well as industrial or governmental organisations in the field of animal production.

Biotechnology in Animal Husbandry is published in English language in yearly volumes of four issues.

Biotechnology in Animal Husbandry is covered by Agricultural Information Services (AGRIS) –Bibliographic coverage of abstracts; Electronic Journal Access Project by Colorado Altiance Research Libraries -Colorado, Denver; USA; Matica Srpska Library -Referal Center; National Library of Serbia; University Library “Svetozar Markovic”, Belgrade, Serbia.

According to CEON bibliometrical analysis citation in SCI index  212,  in ISI 9, impact factor (2 and 5) of journal in 2012: 0.667 and 0.467, – M24 category.
