Institute for Animal Husbandry has become a member of the EUGENA network
On September 16, 2023, the Institute of Animal Husbandry became a member of the European Genebank Network for Animal Genetic Resources (EUGENA). The gene bank of the Institute of Animal Husbandry currently comprises 1,109 samples from four different animal species.
The inclusion of the Institute of Animal Husbandry’s gene bank in the EUGENA network contributes to the preservation of animal genetic resources and genetic diversity for future generations.
