Dr Čedomir Radović, Principal Research Fellow, and Dr Nenad Stojiljković, Research Associate at the Institute for Animal Husbandry, participated in the annual meeting of the EU-LI-PHE CA22112 COST Action, held on 10–11 June 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
As a member of the EU-LI-PHE network, Dr Čedomir Radović actively participated in the Management Committee meeting, contributing to discussions on the further development and activities of the network.
Dr Nenad Stojiljković , a member of the Young Researchers and Innovators (YRI) network, presented research in the field of genetic evaluation of reproductive traits in pigs, with special emphasis on the application of quantitative genetics and the estimation of breeding values in modern animal breeding programmes.
The meeting brought together researchers, young innovators and experts from numerous European countries working in the fields of livestock phenomics, genetic evaluation, precision livestock farming and the application of advanced analytical methods.
The participation of representatives of the Institute for Animal Husbandry in the EU-LI-PHE COST Action contributes to strengthening international scientific cooperation, knowledge exchange and the involvement of our researchers in contemporary European research networks.
