Representatives of the Institute for Animal Husbandry — Dr. Ljiljana Samolovac, Dr. Nenad Mićić, and Dr. Miloš Marinković — participated in the meeting of the EVF Conformation Working Group, held in Austria and organized by Fleckvieh Austria.
During the event, the latest procedures for linear type evaluation of Simmental cattle were presented, conducted using the modern FLECKSCORE system, which is applied in several European countries.
As part of the meeting program, participants also visited the GENOSTAR Center, specialized in the production of semen from top breeding bulls of the Simmental and other cattle breeds. The visit provided an opportunity to learn more about their operations, technological processes, and breeding programs.
