The workshop held in Pirot on October 3, 2025, successfully brought together experts, researchers, representatives of regional and local breeding organizations, breeders, and enthusiasts of autochthonous breeds!
Through an open discussion, we jointly emphasized the importance of conserving the Pirot Pramenka and outlined the next steps within the project “Characterization of the Pirot Pramenka – the most endangered sheep breed in Serbia.”
A big thank you to our hosts from the Pirot Administrative District and the Agricultural Advisory and Expert Service (PSSS) Pirot, as well as to everyone who participated and shared their knowledge and experience – it is precisely this kind of dialogue that makes our mission even stronger.
