On 18 March 2026, the SMART STEP project team visited the Agricultural Advisory and Professional Service of Kragujevac (PSSS Kragujevac), where they introduced fellow agronomists and advisors to the project’s topic, objectives, and planned activities.
PSSS Kragujevac provides professional and advisory services in the field of agriculture across the Šumadija District, which, together with the region of western Serbia, covers the largest share of meadows and pastures in the Republic of Serbia. For this reason, informing and involving this important national agricultural advisory service in the activities and results of the SMART STEP project is considered highly important for the successful achievement of the project objectives.
During the meeting, the main directions of the project were presented, with particular emphasis on the importance of sustainable grassland management, knowledge improvement, and the exchange of experience between the research and advisory sectors. Such promotional and dissemination activities contribute to greater project visibility and stronger cooperation with relevant stakeholders in the field of agriculture.
