The 14th International Symposium “Modern Trends in Livestock Production” was held on October 4-6, 2023, organized by the Institute for Animal Husbandry, with over 40 foreign participants from 23 countries.
Dr. Dušica Ostojić Andrić, head of the Serbian CLIAVE project team, presided over the section in which interesting works from the field of climate change in animal husbandry were presented. Associate of the CLIAVE project, Dr. Samolovac, prepared and presented a paper on the organization of cattle production in conditions of climate change for this occasion.
In the constructive discussion after the session, it was concluded that although animal husbandry significantly contributes to GHG emissions, there is considerable scope to mitigate its impact on climate change through the application of various measures.
