At the 91st International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, from May 18-24, 2024, the representative of the Institute for Animal Husbandry, Dr. Nenad Mićić, was a member of the commission for the evaluation the quality of the exhibited heads of cattle, cooperating with the chairman of the commission, Prof. Dr. Denis Kučević, member of the B.Sc. Mata Janjić and secretary of the commission, B.Sc. Master of Miroslava Radinović.
Total of 186 cattle were exhibited, 105 cattle were evaluated by category and breed (Simmental, Holstein, Angus, Hereford, Limousin, as well as domestic buffalo) in two days of work. On the basis of all examined and evaluated heads of live cattle exhibits, the commission awarded numerous plaques, diplomas, medals and cups.
At this International agricultural fair in Novi Sad, in addition to the professional work of colleagues within the commissions, the Institute for Animal Husbandry presented MIS sheep through two collections that testify to the quality of this breed: breeding sheep and breeding rams, for which the institute received the Plaque of the Novi Sad Fair!
The Institute also received the Diploma of the Novi Sad Fair, for its contribution to scientific and research work in the field of animal husbandry!
